The Senior School celebrated the end of Term 2 with a lively assembly showcasing our musical talent, sporting achievements, and our Kinor David badge recipients.
VCE music students Raphy Light and Sienna Burrows performed, as well as the Senior String Ensemble, the Nana band, and the Senior School choir.
Students Charlie Black (Year 11), Charli Cantoni-Bud (Year 11), Jackson Carew (Year 11), Teige Cordiner (Year 11), Joe Kornhauser (Year 11), Jacob Kronberg (Year 11), Sammy Oizerovitch (Year 11), Reine Polovoy-Geller (Year 11), Ella Simons (Year 10), Jasmine Weisberg (Year 11) and Zoe Ziguras (Year 11) received Kinor David badges for their commitment to Hadracha (Leadership), Tikkun Olam (Social Justice), Achreyut (Personal Endeavour) and Shituf Peulah (Teamwork).
We congratulated students for successes in the BDPSSA and EISM competitions, particularly the Senior Boys' soccer team and the Junior Girls' soccer team who performed exceptionally well.
Students from each year level also participated in a spirited paper plane race - Year 9 were the winners, with Dari throwing his plane the furthest.
What a wonderful way to come together and celebrate our students before the break!
